我想到了。問題是 Alt+Shift 快捷鍵被辨識為Next Group用於鍵盤佈局切換的特殊鍵。我不確定如何更改佈局切換的快捷方式，但我設法找到了一種刪除它的方法。

/etc/default/keyboard使用文本編輯器打開並grp:alt_shift_toggle從 XKBOPTIONS 中刪除。在我的情況下，我不得不改變這一行：

XKBOPTIONS="grp:alt_shift_toggle,grp_led:scroll,terminate:ctrl_alt_bksp"

至

XKBOPTIONS="grp_led:scroll,terminate:ctrl_alt_bksp"

然後只需重新啟動（我確信還有另一種方法，但重新啟動是最簡單的）。現在 Alt+Shift 將不會被辨識為Next Group.
